He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry "Gene" Hampton and Helen Hampton (Butts); his wife Mary Hampton; and his son Randy Eugene Hampton. He is survived by: his daughters, Elaine Harvill (Steve) and Kim Castic; his grandchildren, Darren Harvill (Sandi), Travis Tate, Brittany Croessman, Lauren Elizondo (Nicolaus) and Jayma Pearson (Chris); his great grandchildren, Tyler Tate (Maddie), Jaxon Tate, Kynley Tate, Jackson Harvill and Maysa Harvill; his siblings, Nancy Benjamin and Nelson Hampton; and his caregivers, Pam Graham, Fay Kirk and Flo Dean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
