He was predeceased by: his father Max Garrison; and his siblings, Leslie Paul Garrison, Allen Wayar Garrison, Ron Garrison, Tammy Wright Garrison and Lola Maxine Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Garrison (Alecia Williams) of Mount Vernon, Brandie Garrison of Ellijay, Georgia and Dylan Garrison of New Haven, Illinois; his siblings, Max Garrison (Lisa McDonald) of Opdyke, Cynthia Myers (Ron) of Mount Vernon, George Garrison of North Carolina, Arthur Garrison of Patoka and Barbara Martin of Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Anthony Max Jay Garrison and Asher Reid Garrison.
