It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Brodie of Oneida, Illinois, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Solomon H.; his wife Donna K. Reed; his close friend Mary McKee; his sisters, Joyce Frye (Virgil) and Carol Waight; his children, Denise Stricker (Stephen) of Terrell and Monte (Brandy) of Altona; his grandsons, Joshua Brodie, Jared Brodie, Ethan Brodie and Wyatt Brodie; his sister Kay Johnson; his brothers-in-law, Roland D. and Bob Waight; and also, A. Brodie (Morgan), Tina, Matthew, Ronald and Solomon H.. He was also cherished by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Victoria United Methodist Church.
