He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Krantz and Alvera Krantz (Peterson); his wife Carole S. Susie Swanson (McKie); and his sisters, Alberta Krantz, Audrey Mayer and Dixie Slater.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Sherrill Hills (Wendall) of Lynn Center and Teresa Swanson-Devlin (Tom) of Germantown Hills, Illinois; his nieces and nephews, Greg Mayer (Claudia) of Weaverville, Brian Mayer (Jan) of Wheaton, Scott Slater of Arlington, Texas, Sue Brettmann (Hal) of Olathe and Shari Hume (Tom) of Encinitas, California; and his brother-in-law Bob Slater of Arlington, Texas.. He is also survived by three step grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to United Church of Oneida or to Heart & Home in Galesburg, Illinois.
