She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Nelson and Margaret Nelson of Altona; her siblings, Charles W. Nelson of Altona and Doris Magnuson (Nelson) of Brookfield, MO; and her daughter Carolyn G. Mink (Shaw) of Urbana.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Shaw; her children, Willard Shaw (Brenda) of Oneida, Marie Shaw (Colleen) of Coupeville and Ione Arends (Dick) of Austin, Texas; her son-in-law Barry Mink of Oneida; her grandchildren, Lauren, Alison Mink, Jessica Enervold (Kyle), Alex Shaw, Ellie, Abbey and Max Arends; and her great grandchild Jordan Enervold. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Immanuel Lutheran Church, 4-H House, or Knox County 4-H. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Oneida, Illinois is assisting the family.
