With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roger C. Lefers of Olympia Fields, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Lefers and Florence Lefers; his brothers, Dean and Lawrie; and his brother-in-law Clares.
He is survived by: his wife Donna (Dykema); his siblings, Norma Lubben, Donna VanderLey (Glen) and Wayne (Janet); his sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Bev; his close friend Velma Kellup; his children, Krista Woods, Mark (Diane) and Amber (Rachel); his grandchildren, Kala McCoy, Kyle McCoy, Megan, Lexi (David), Luke, Andrew, Nia, Samiya, Isaiah, Emma, Noah and Izzy; and his great grandchildren, James IV and Natalia.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Pullman Christian Reformed Church (424 E 103rd St, Chicago, IL 60628). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (1966 Thornton Lansing Rd, Lansing, IL 60438).
