It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Liang of Olympia Fields, Illinois, born in Fort Monroe, Virginia, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent-in-law Yuan Liang; her brother James (Sherry); and her granddaughter Olivia Guttenberg Chisholm. She is survived by: her siblings, Elizabeth "Betsy" Farmer (Dan) of Durango, CO and Vernon "Terry" Simmons, III (Leigh) of Richmond, VA; her son Robert Chisholm (Michelle); her grandchildren, Cameron, Jane, Emily of Porter, IN and James Chisholm (Sara Guttenberg); her great grandchild Matthew of Byron, IL; her grandson John Chisholm (Elizabeth); and her great grandchildren, McKenna, Grace and Colin of Minooka, IL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Faith United Protestant Church in Park Forest, IL and the South Suburban Public Action to Delivery Shelter (PADS) in Mary's name.
