He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eloise Russell, Maxine McLaughlin and Charles Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Gloria L. Gayle; his children, Faith Barnes, Jason Barnes, Keith Norvel (Annette), Gigi Gayle and Crystal Pandy (Eric); his grandchildren, Caleb, Jaylon, Joshua, Leo, Khalil, Savanah, Kristen (Jeremy), Maya, Austin and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Alejandro Otero, Quinton, Isabella, Carter and Audrey; and his siblings, Lenora Reed, Shirley B. Laird, Edna Ruth Barnes, Carolyn Sue McCain (Bobby), Diane Barnes, Wanda Hanshaw (Larry), Judy Coffey, Glenis Barnes and Geraldine Barnes.
