He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Pitts and Opal Pitts (Jennings); and his son Jason Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Pitts (Bursott) of Olney; his sons, Brent Pitts (Sheri) of Olney and Eric Pitts (Babbs) of Olney; his stepsons, Rodney Goble (Renee Richardson) of Huntington, IN and Jayson Goble (Shurron) of Oblong, IL; his grandchildren, Brittany Akers (Taylor), Sydney Pitts, Hayley Pitts, Clayton Pitts, Ellison Pitts, Craig Goble (Kari), Andrew Goble (Kendra), Erin Goble, Cera Goble, Payslen Goble, Nash Goble and Sutton Goble; his great grandchildren, Conner Akers, Lexie Akers, Emma Goble and Fennley Goble; and his brother Larry Pitts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
