With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma G. (Bittner) Burton of Olney, Illinois, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolf Otto and Minnie Mae Martin (Harris); her former husband John Bittner, Sr.; her husband Harry Burton; and her siblings, Edward, Melvin, Howard Martin and Helen George.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Jennings of Olney, Marie Barclay of Mesa, AZ and John A. Jr. (Lisha Bittner) of Allendale, IL; her grandchildren, Mark (Cindy), Michael Jennings (Christine), Beau (Kelly) and Dustin Belt (Cassie); her great grandchildren, Katherine, Caroline, Charlotte Jennings, Mason, Ethan, Piper, Dean, Asher, Jackson and Tucker Belt; and her sister Dora Francis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to the Ebenezer Cemetery.
