It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Turnipseed of Olney, Illinois, born in Robinson, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maven Turnipseed and Norma Jeanne Turnipseed (Fehrenbacher); and his brother Gene Turnipseed. He is survived by: his son Travis; his granddaughter Emma; his stepgrandchildren, Brantley and Gracelinn; and his siblings, Mark Turnipseed (Jill) of Olney, IL, Marlin Turnipseed (Kathy) of Naples, FL, Susanne Jones (Brad) and Julie Schmucker (Chuck). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

“We are so sorry for your loss! I always liked joking around with Steven! I remember babysitting for Steven and his siblings and Steven was the most mischievous! Steven used to like to lay in the sun on the roof of my house in Marion when Steven lived in Carbondale. Steven was a true blessing in my life and he will always be remembered!!
