He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Jenkins and Stella Jenkins (Lewis); his wife Mary Lou Christy; his siblings, Louis, Blanchard Jenkins, Myra Jenkins, Corinne Neeley, Alma Royse and Iona Siebert; and his half-brother Eugene Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Jenkins (Jane), Donald Jenkins (Susan) of Wichita, KS, Margaret Kathleen Upton of Ft. Worth, TX, Pamela Maximo (Roberto) of Acworth, GA, Janice Gill (Stanley) of Bedford, TX, Shirley Jenkins of Olney, Paul Jenkins (Jan) of Litchfield and Stephen Jenkins (Krista) of Wichita, KS.; his brother-in-law Floyd Siebert; his nephew Paul; and his niece Phyllis Ulrich. He is also survived by his children, he is survived by 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Richland County Senior Citizen's Center in memory of Samuel Ellis Jenkins.
