He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Holtz and Bernice Holtz (Phillips); his sons, Steve Holtz and Doug Holtz; and his brother Dan Holtz.

He is survived by: his son Rob Holtz (Laura); his grandchildren, Brooke Holtz and Gage Holtz; his daughter Amanda Holtz; and his granddaughters, Makenna Holtz and Leanne Crowder (Guy). He is also survived by nephew and 2 great-grandchildren.
