He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Elliott and Dorothy (Venters); his stepfather Jack McClintock; and his former wife Cindy Elliott (Snyder). He is survived by: his son Dustin Elliott; his wife Mona Elliott (Ginther) of Olney; his daughters, Amy Elliott, Tawny Akers, Susan Jolly, Caley Ginther and Tessie Polak; his grandchildren, Dominik, Camron, Hannah, Preston, Craig, Braden, Jocelyn, Dominick, Lance, Elijah, Jessica, Riley, Jayden, Zayne, Claire, Noah, Justice, Gabrielle, Isabella, Genesis, Cam and Dean; and his sisters, Karen Zimmerman and Kaylene Scott. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to the family for funeral expenses.
