He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Nance and Retha Nance (Peneton); and his parents-in-law, James and Eileen A. Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Paula E. Nance of Olney; his children, Richard A. "Ricky" Nance, II (Tamera) of Benton and Randi A. Hahn (Michael) of Olney; his grandchildren, Kristopher Nance and Elizabeth Hahn; his siblings-in-law, Sandra L. Nelson of Belvidere, James B. Ruth of Olney and Fred Lynch of Olney; his nieces and nephews, Bryan Lynch, Jason Lynch, Larry Nelson, Michael Rooker, David Chance, Beth Rives, Debbie Nelson, Cindy Kasnoff, Katheryn Sureles, Anna Hyland of Jennifer, Wright and Jennifer Meese; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Haley and Kaley; and his siblings-in-law, William E. Lawson and Sonia Jean Lynch (Sunny).
