She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Frederick Schaeffer and Elizabeth (Hairfield). She is survived by: her husband Alan Thomas of Olney; her son Edward Thomas (Andrea) of Olney; her grandsons, Brody and Jett Thomas; her siblings, Dr. John F. Schaeffer of Sanford, FL, Carolyn Strutner of Westerville, OH and Barbara Bowers (Pat) of Columbus, OH; and her sister-in-law Carole Baynes of Ellettsville, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
