He was predeceased by: his parents, John Koon and Zela Koon (Ansell). He is survived by: his wife Clara Koon (Swarens) of Olney; his children, Robert Koon, Timothy Koon, Kevin Koon, Donna Waddell, Sheryl Tordrop and Kathy Coen; and his stepchildren, Ranessa Hunley and Jeffery Hunley. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
