He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elijah Murray and Eleanor (Gilbert); his brother-in-law Alan McKinney; and his nephew Sean McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Molly Murray (Reinert) of Olney; his children, Patrick Elijah Murray (Lisa), Ann Shapiro (Mark) and Susan Schopflin (John); his grandchildren, Ben, Meagan, Adler, Dain, Ashley, Cash, Laurel, Jamie (Kenny), Andrew, Blake and Grace; his great grandchildren, Avery, Evelyn and Chloe; his sister Judy McKinney of Olney; his niece Janet Everette (Pat); and his great-nieces, Jessica VanDyke (Jamie) and Lauren McClain (Rob).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the ICU department at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital.
