With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max D. Hocking (Olney, Illinois), born in Edwards, Colorado, who passed away on November 20, 2018 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Hocking and Martha Ellen Hocking (Judge); and his spouse Margaret A. (Eagleson). He is survived by: his children, Doug Hocking (Mary) of Debary, FL and Margaret J. Davison (Bill) of Shelbyville, IL; his close friend Herma Dyckus of Olney; his grandchildren, Allison Etheridge (Ross), Phillip Hocking (Lisa), Lacy Opp and Megan Anne Steed (Robert); his great grandchildren, Lily Etheridge, Max Etheridge and Isaac Opp; and his brother Bob Hocking (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
