She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Harry "Bud" and Eula Lee Fessel (Turpin); her child Albert William Nix Jr.; and her brother Harry Lee Fessel. She is survived by: her children, Chris Mullens (Jerry) of Olney, IL, Phil Nix (Beverly) of Pembroke Pines, FL, David Nix of Monument, CO and Ann Sharma of Concord, NC; and her sister Lynn Barber of Lynchburg, VA. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 11 Great grandchildren.
