She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Vernon and Inez Burgin (Fulk); her son Shane Hendricks; and her siblings, Little Everett Burgin, Jr., Carol Brown and Warren Burgin.
She is survived by: her daughter Diana Mercer (Jeff) of New Harmony, IN; and her siblings, Una Tarpley, Diana Burgin and Gary Burgin (Kaye). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
