It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence F. Douthit (Olney, Illinois), born in Wheeler, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Douthit and Bertha Douthit (Toland); and his brothers, Howard Douthit and Larry Douthit. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Douthit of Olney; his children, Sharlene Douthit of Charleston, SC and Rodney Douthit (Marcie) of Indianapolis, IN; his grandson Eric Douthit; his siblings, Harry Dale Douthit (Rose), Gary Keith Douthit (Kathy) and Ila Mae Schackmann; his sisters-in-law, June Douthit and Sharon Douthit; and also, John Schneidmuller of Charleston, SC and Sharon Field (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
