With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Keith Eckel of Olney, Illinois, who passed away on May 27, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Keith shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Keith farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer B. Eckel and Mildred Pauline Eckel (Arteberry). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Eckel (Steber) of Olney; his daughters, Erin Akers (Brad) of New Douglas, IL and Erica Grandt (Nick) of Kinmundy, IL; his grandchildren, Owen, Jack, Molly, Evie Akers, Josalyn and Benny Grandt; and his cousin Sandy Burgener (Ron) of Olney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and sisters and brothers in law.
