He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Trost and Elsie Trost (Mayhew); his stepdaughter Gari Brown; and his stepgrandchildren, Alex Brown and Anastasia Herendez.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Trost of Olney; his sons, Eric Trost (Cindy Zerkle) of Olney and Kevin Trost of Port St; his stepchildren, Keith Brown (Jan), Cherrie Kelly (Brian) of Port St, Ken Jackson (Robin) of Noble and David Jackson of Olney; his grandchildren, Elise Trost, John Trost and Justin Gore; his stepgrandchildren, Adrian Jackson, Braeden Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Patrick Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Trina Swinson and Jacinta Brown; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Sierra; and his stepgreat-grandchild Gavin Harmon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
