He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chester Hadden and Gladys Irene Hadden (Fellows); his wife Elinor Irene Hadden (Swagger); his brother Harold Bell Wright; his son John Hadden Jr.; and his brother-in-law Bob Swagger.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Hadden (Joan) of Dyersburg, Zona Halsey McTarnahan (John) of Austin, Shaun Hagenseiker of Effingham, Stephanie Funkhouser (Patrick) of Sidney, Cheryl Cullen (Jason) of Clarkdale and Stephen Hadden (Juli) of Phoenix, Arizona; his brother-in-law Gene Swagger of Corryton; and his close friend Drue Elliott of Olney, Illinois.. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to Flora VWF Post 3999, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
