It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie D. Schweizer of Olney, Illinois, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Jimmie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jimmie has bequeathed us. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schweizer and Melva Schweizer Schweizer (Cotterell). He is survived by: his brother Dale Schweizer (Janice) of Salem, KY; his nieces, Amy Ramage (Garrick) of Smithland, KY and Ashley Hopper (Andrew) of Pendleton, IN; his great-nephew Ethan Ramage of Smithland, KY; his great-nieces, Emersyn Ramage of Smithland, KY and Catherine Hopper of Pendleton, IN; and his cousin Gwen Nickel-Reinhart of Carbondale, IL..
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
