He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay E. "Slim" and Mary M. Maxwell (Mitchell); and his brother Jack Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie L. Stringer; his sons, Michael (Barbara) of Cape Coral, FL and Robert (Kathy) of Louisville, KY; his granddaughters, Jennifer Maxwell of Cape Coral, FL and Jessica Maxwell of Hodgenville, KY; and his great grandchild Cadence A. Lee of Cape Coral, FL..
