He is survived by: his mother Virginia Jones (Steuber); his children, Jason Jones, Jerrica Gwyn and Justin Jones (Lea Ann); his grandchildren, Trevor Jones, Landyn Jones, Jaylen Gwyn, Ally Jones, Jacob Gwyn and Jaytin Jones; and his sisters, Jill Fritschle (George) and Jodi Brown (Buddy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Jay "The Gas Man" Jones, 62, of Olney, Illinois, took his final lap and won the big race on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
