He is survived by: his wife Shelia Herman of Olney; his stepchildren, Terry Reece, Susan McGowan, Steven Reece and Julie Marie Mathewson; his adoptive son Rodney Travis; and his siblings, Paul Herman, Frank Herman (Janet) of Xenia, Mary Edna Brian (Donald) of Olney, Ruth Rzeppa of Michigan, Dolores Francis of Bloomington, IN and Freda Miller (Richard) of Rochester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
