She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Brooks and Edna Lavana Brooks (Winans); her husband William Cantwell; her son Bill Cantwell; and her siblings, Charles Brooks, Evelyn Burgener, Florence Skinner, Mabel Black-Holt, Alva Brooks Jr., Walter Brooks, Mildred Head, Bill Brooks and Kenneth Brooks.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Alice Cantwell of Moore Park, CA; her children, Jim Cantwell of Evansville, IN, Michael Cantwell (Desiree) of Vincennes, IN, Tom Cantwell (Chris) of Clermont, FL, Catherine McClintic of Palmetto, FL and Christine Corn (Brian) of Palmetto, FL; her grandchildren, Christopher Cantwell (Cathleen), Elizabeth Hare (Jared), Andrew Cantwell (Heather), Thomas Cantwell, Jimmy Cantwell, Nathan Cantwell (Olivia), Timothy Cantwell (Michelle), Gretchen Waninger (Justin), Dylan Haskins, Drew Cantwell (Megan), Kyle Cantwell, Sarah McClintic, Connor McClintic, Ryan McClintic, Lauren McClintic, Will Corn and Hannah Corn; and her siblings, Bob Brooks of Olney and Mary Stewart of Lynden, WA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Carle Center for Philanthropy Hospice – Richland.

“Jeanie gave us many funny, happy memories. She would call me, Jody, a couple of times a year, until her memory went. We would have a lot of fun sharing laughs. She was very loved, and we are so thankful that she knew the Lord and is resting peacefully in His arms. Praying that her faith brings you peace in your grief.”
