Edwin Dale Hawkey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Dale Hawkey of Olney, Illinois, born in Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hawkey and Ruby "Hites" Hawkey; his sister Connie Holzl; and his close friend Helen Limes. He is survived by: his siblings, Debbie Holmes (Jim) of Olney, Marlena McCoy of Watson, Glen Hawkey of Evansville, Bruce Hawkey of Evansville and Earl Hawkey (Angela) of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Edwin's memory to the Effingham County Humane Society, or the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and will be accepted through the funeral home.
