He is survived by: his children, Courtney Carlson and Logan Carlson (Madison); his granddaughter Lillian Carlson; and his siblings, Naomi Nash, Steven Carlson, Rebecca Dean, Timothy Carlson and Philip Carlson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
