Cecil Cazel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2022, at the age of 83, Cecil Cazel of Olney, Illinois, born in Tuscola, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Henry Cazel and Bessie Marie Cazel (Hall); and his siblings, George Cazel, Ruth Matthews, Leone Ewing and Fern Hardesty.
He is survived by: his daughters, Esther Lee (Jack) of Houston, TX and Sherri Brazil (Phillip Novak) of Olney; his grandchildren, Melinda Lee Nedland (Brock), Melissa Lee Richard (Russell), Esther Brazil, Matthew Brazil and Elliot Brazil (Samantha); and his great grandchildren, Lewis, Henry Nedland, Arthur, Edwin Richard, Beatrice Cicic-Brazil and Theodore Cicic-Brazil. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cecil Cazel Scholarship Fund, to be awarded in the Spring of 2023 to a graduating Richland County High School female interested in Aeronautics.
