She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Franklin and Doris (Hunley); her brothers, Floyd Franklin and Mark Franklin; and her former life partner Bernard J. Smith.

She is survived by : her husband Don Cunningham of Olney; her daughters, Barbara "Buffie" Kattke (John) of Woodridge, IL and Natalie R. Cunningham of Olney; her grandchildren, Michelle St. Pierre (Jared), Jackson and Claudia Kattke; her great grandchildren, Gabriel and Jazlyn St. Pierre; her siblings, Gary Wayne Franklin (Becky) and Dallas J. Hemphill; and her close friend Barbara Faggetti. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to Humane Society of Olney.
