With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William L. Riechmann of Okawville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Riechmann and Laura Riechmann; his wife Marilyn Grefe of Luke's Lutheran Church; his siblings, Doris, Delores and Hugo Jr.; his sister-in-law Norma Riechmann; and his niece Lori Jean Riechmann.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Rabenort (Jeff) of Okawville, William Riechmann (Patty) of Okawville, Kevin Riechmann (Julie) of Okawville and Keith Riechmann (Pam Therion) of Okawville; his grandchildren, Lance Rabenort (Christine) of Okawville, Cole Rabenort (Millie) of St. Louis, Kirk Riechmann (Heather) of Okawville, Trey Riechmann (Amber) of Okawville, Chelsey Riechmann (Darren Latham) of Mascoutah, IL, Tyler Riechmann (Macey) of Lompoc, CA, Logan Riechmann (Aly Florek) of Okawville, Ethan Riechmann of Okawville, Abby Riechmann of Okawville and Payton Riechmann (Mallory Unverfehrt) of Colorado Springs, CO; his great grandchildren, Avery, William Rabenort, Huxley, Jaxson Riechmann, Delilah, Degen, Demi Riechmann, Sawyer, Renley Sterrett and Walker Riechmann; his brother Loyd Riechmann of Okawville; his nephews, Mark Riechmann (Michelle) of Okawville, Mike Riechmann (Melissa) of Hoyleton, IL and Matt Riechmann (Erica) of Okawville; his sister-in-law Mary Lou Grefe Klasing (Lloyd) of Okawville; his cousin Carol Ruehl Lieb (Ron); and his close friend Emma Lou Mueller of Okawville. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Peter's Sunday School Program or to the Sara Strong Benefit for Sara Schmersahl and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
