Verdell C. Unverfehrt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verdell C. Unverfehrt of Okawville, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Brockmeier and Emma Brockmeier; her husband Alfred Unverfehrt; her siblings, Walter Brockmeier (Marian), Edward, Roy, Ralph Brockmeier, Elda Brockmeier, Lorraine Hasheider (Elmer) and Leona Shubert (Arthur); and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Unverfehrt (Delores), Norma Rommelmann (Clarence) and Marie Cova (Sam).
She is survived by: her children, David Unverfehrt of Ocala, FL, Karen Droste (Dave) of Nashville, Julie Maschhoff (Ken) of Carlyle, IL and Jim Unverfehrt (Lori) of Okawville; her grandchildren, Kristi Kollmann (Chris), Emily Hanenberger (Brett), Chelsey Maschhoff (Eric Nichols), Cassie Maschhoff, Benjamin Maschhoff, Sabrina Randolph (Kirk), Lauren Hall (Kyle), Mallory Unverfehrt (Payton Riechmann) and Caleb Unverfehrt (Chloe Tepe); her great grandchildren, Elise, Blair Hanenberger and Sophia Hall; and her sister-in-law Eunice Brink (Bob) of Richview, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (206 E Schumacher St, Okawville, IL 62271). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Immanuel Lutheran School, Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School, or to the Kaskaskia College Foundation and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
