He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Kinzel and Thelma Kinzel; and his son-in-law Robert Roush. He is survived by : his wife Patricia Kinzel of Okawville; his children, Kathie Roush (Craig Eigenrauch) of Addieville, IL, Keith Kinzel (Lorna) of Red Bud, IL, Karen Donohue (Daniel) of St. Peters, MO, Kelly Hokeness (Douglas) of Okawville and Kenneth Kinzel (Judy) of Okawville; his grandchildren, Stephanie Carton (Tony), Christopher Schorfheide (Danielle), Lacy Kinzel, Brian Donohue, Brandon Hokeness, Jacob Hokeness, Emma Hokeness, Clayton Vanderson, Katherine Kinzel and Joseph Kinzel; his great grandchildren, Eli, Adlai, Jenna, Sawyer and Paisley; and his siblings, Connie Lange (Melvin) of Rocky Mound, MO and Jim Kinzel (Marcia) of Ballwin, IL. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Salvator Lutheran Church or to the Okawville High School Music Boosters and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
