He is survived by: his sister Karlyne Roethemeyer (Larry); his children, Doug Roethemeyer (Melanie), Angie Frazier (Jarred) and Kevin Roethemeyer; his great-nephews, Isaiah Frazier and Kelton Roethemeyer; his great-niece Kallie Roethemeyer; his cousins, Gary and Linda Steinkamp; and his brothers-in-law, John Muench (Christeen), Frantz Muench and Doug Muench (Mel Rae).
