It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard V Williams of Okawville, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Verdell Williams and Helen Williams; his grandson Chase Williams; and his sisters, Anna K. Anderson, Jackie Thaxton and Cecilia Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Williams of Okawville; his children, Elizabeth Anderson of Okawville, Mark Williams (Sook-Yeun) of Chatham, IL, Jeffrey Williams (Lisa Dimiceli) of Claryville, NY and Kenny Williams (Lindsay) of Huntsville, AL; his grandchildren, Aaron, Aidan Anderson of Anny, A. J., Kellan, Kinsey and Nolan Williams; and his sister Mary Richael Williams of Bridgeton, MO.
Due to Covid-19 health concerns, guests are encouraged to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Therefore in lieu of flowers, Mass offerings or memorials to American Legion Post 233 will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
