It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Serge Riester of Okawville, Illinois, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Serge P. Riester and Versa I. Riester (Little); his spouse Shirley Short; his daughter Cristal Gale Riester; his granddaughter Jenni Knee; his siblings, Jim Riester, Robert Riester, Richard Riester and Delores Pierce (Elvis); and his son-in-law Bill Wiggs.

He is survived by: his children, Ericka Rosenberg (Frank) of Belleville, IL, Renee Wiggs of Independence, MO, Dennis Pryor (Cat) of Independence, MO, Yvonne Keck (Dale) of Belleville, IL and Allen Pryor (Carol) of Carlyle, IL; his grandchildren, Caitlynn, Michael, Charles, Rachael, Stephanie, Christine, Becky and Sarah; and his sister-in-law Mary Riester of Belleville, IL. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
