Maxine Caroline Laughlin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2021, at the age of 73, Maxine Caroline Laughlin (Okawville, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Strate and Olivia Strate; her husband James Laughlin; her siblings, Curtis Paul, George, Engelhardt, Kenneth, Harry Strate and Shirley Dunnigan; and her half-siblings, James Strate and Mary Phillipi.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Green (Duane) of Venedy, IL, Linda Laughlin (Rich Taylor) of Damiansville, IL and John Laughlin of Okawville; her grandchildren, Lucas, Jordan, Garrett Green, Bryce Laughlin and Aubrey Taylor; and her siblings, Charles Strate (Jerri) of New Baden, IL, Rosie Cameron of Ashley, IL, Georgine Fields of Centralia, IL and Florence Going of Okawville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to Covid-19 health concerns, restrictions will be followed. Face coverings will be required, and social distancing measures will be implemented, with a limited number of visitors in the funeral home at any one time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Maxine Laughlin and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
