It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene G. Davis of Okawville, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on September 12, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Marlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Herbert Ruehl Jr. and David Ruehl. She is survived by: her husband William Davis of Nashville; and her siblings, Lola Moran of Nashville, Dwight Ruehl (Deborah) of Worland, WY and Byron Ruehl of Nashville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
