He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold and Mary Ann; his son Michael Gunter; his stepfather Leroy Lehde; and his brother-in-law Lyle Holle.
He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Korri of San Antonio, TX and Marilyn Holle of Okawville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and one great-great niece.
