It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Elizabeth Stein of Okawville, Illinois, who passed away on May 26, 2008, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Bernard; her spouse Libory Stein Jr.; her children, Mary Ann, Loraine Borgmann (Charles) and James Stein; her granddaughter Elizabeth McKinley; and her siblings, Vernon, Bernie Sandheinrich and Margaret Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Clark (William) of Dix, IL, Betty Pennington (Mark) of Okawville, IL and Thomas Stein (Julie) of Okawville, IL; and her daughter-in-law Karen Stein of Nashville, IL. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, Mass offerings or memorials may be made to the St. Anthony Cemetery, the Okawville Senior Center, or to the charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
