With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth E Hevner (Okawville, Illinois), born in Birdseye, Indiana, who passed away on November 28, 2020 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kenneth E Hevner to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Hevner and Florence Hevner; and his brother Leon Chanley. He is survived by: his wife Judy Goffinet of Okawville; his children, Amy Regnier (Scott) of Jefferson City, MO, Jason Hevner of Okawville and Andrew Hevner of Okawville; his grandchildren, Emma, Abby Regnier and Owen Hevner; and his brother Danny Chanley (Martha) of Bristow, IN.

Visitation will be held from the Campagna Funeral Home in Okawville on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5 P. M. until 7 P. M. Due to Covid-19 health concerns, visitors should practice social distancing and the wearing of masks is encouraged.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Raise the Roof fund at the Okawville American Legion and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.

“So sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I worked at Tyndall AFB in the pavements area and talked to Ken weekly, sometimes daily. He was a valued friend. He was a true professional and was respected by Air Force, Army, and Navy engineers for his expertise, persistence and integrity. His influence will continue for years.
