He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Schrage and Lenora Schrage; and his siblings, Robert, John Schrage and Judy Schrage.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Schrage of Okawville; his sons, Joseph S. (Barbara) and Eric (Lisa); his sister Carol Helms of Naperville, IL; and his grandsons, Joseph Hunter, Braden, Benjamin and Jacob Schrage. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Barbara Building Extension Project and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
