He is survived by: his wife Arlene Schaefer of Okawville; his children, Candice Rice of Belleville, IL and Duane Baum of Okawville; his grandchildren, Jessica Nandi of Provo, UT, Caitlin Rice of St. Louis, MO, Ashley Baum of St. Louis and Joshua Baum of New Baden, IL; and his siblings, William Baum of Collinsville, IL, Elsie McCartney (Robert) of Collinsville and Sandy Stevens (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who are assisting the family with arrangements.
