He was predeceased by: his parents, George Strate and Olivia Strate; his siblings, Curtis Paul, George, Engelhardt, Kenneth Strate and Shirley Dunnigan; and his half-siblings, James Strate and Mary Phillipi.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Strate (Jerri) of New Baden, IL, Rosie Cameron of Ashley, IL, Georgine Fields of Centralia, IL, Florence Going of Okawville and Maxine Laughlin of Okawville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Due to Covid-19 health concerns, a private service for the family will be held from the Campagna Funeral Home in Okawville on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Harry Strate and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
