Gayle left this world on December 21, 2024 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Holle and Dolores Holle; her siblings, Lyle Holle and Sherry Lynn Rennegarbe (Don); her parents-in-law, George and Carolyn McQuade; and her siblings-in-law, Bernice Schilling (Bob), Virginia McQuade, Mike McQuade (Norma), Robert McQuade and Harold McQuade (Veronica).
She is survived by: her husband Hugo McQuade of Okawville; her daughter Vicky Becherer (Randy) of Lake; her stepchildren, Edye McQuade of Belleville, Steve McQuade (Holly) of Bixby, OK, Jason McQuade (Samantha) of Belleville and Mike Schaefer (Bonnie) of Belleville; her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Holle and Anne McQuade; and her cousins, Brenda Tweedy of Red Bud, IL and Laurie Lamar of Okawville. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Olive Branch Lutheran Church (11265 IL-177, Okawville, IL 62271). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Olive Branch Lutheran Church or to St. Jude's Hospital and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
