We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2021, at the age of 73, Elaine A. Brammeier (Okawville, Illinois), born in Breese, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine A. Brammeier to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Ratermann and Leona Ratermann; her husband Gene Brammeier; and her brothers, Andrew Ratermann and Stephen Ratermann.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Brammeier (Genevieve) of Pinckneyville, IL, Michael Brammeier of St. Louis, MO and Curtis Brammeier; her grandchildren, Zoey of Pinckneyville, Tyler of Pinckneyville and Dylan Brammeier of Pinckneyville; her siblings, Marcellus Ratermann (Milly) of San Marcos, CA, Alfred Ratermann (Virginia) of Breese, Cletus Ratermann (Debbie) of Breese, Matthew Ratermann (Karen) of Aviston, IL and Betty Sligar (Bill) of Breese; and her sister-in-law Barbara Ratermann of Germantown, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
Due to Covid-19 health concerns, restrictions will be followed. Face coverings will be required, and social distancing measures will be implemented, with a limited number of visitors in the funeral home at any one time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
